FAQ's
How does it work ?
The IT-Woofa uses a movement sensor with sirens
controlled by a microprocessor. A remote control allows
communication with the alarm via a radio signal. It also has
a Panic button. Both units are powered by batteries.
What makes the IT-Woofa special in preventing the
theft of my laptop ?
It Works - here's why.
1. Securely attached. When attached using the special
pads it is permanently held in place. Its patented
limpet shape means it cannot be held, grasped or
twisted off the laptop.
2. Sirens. Attempts at theft , breaching security, or
using the Panic button will trigger 85 Db sirens.
3. Visual deterrent. There are 3 warning flashing
LED’s (i.e. lights) on the top of the alarm.
4. Audible deterrent. Depending on settings,
there may be between 1 and 4 warning chirps before sirens
trigger.
5. Anti-tamper protection. Any attempt to remove the
batteries illegally will trigger the sirens.
